Cari Kamm holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.

A native of West Virginia, Kamm earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Food from West Virginia University. Upon graduation, she entered New York University where in the course of her clinical work, she focused on the study of Vitamins & Minerals, Research and various disease states.

During her final semester at NYU, confident in the knowledge that nutrition and diet are critical factors in the prevention of diseases of the skin as well as the body, Kamm elected to enter a profession centered in the sciences of both skin and nutrition. Her search for the ultimate in skin care products, led her to create them herself and she proceeded to develop a line of unsurpassed quality, efficacy and simplicity. Kammplexion Customized Nutritional Skincare received press in Forbes, Lucky, and Self magazine along with Fox News and was sold in NYC among upscale boutique stores.

Previously, the Director of Marketing and Media Relations of a leading cosmetic laser company in the New York, Miami and Philadelphia markets, Kamm focused on the latest advances in laser technology, clinical ingredients and procedures while building brand awareness.

Kamm has released her first novel, Fake Perfect Me. During her writing process, she discovered her favorite word – “Truth.” Living your truth and being true to yourself, is one of the most important themes that the protagonist Isabella Reynolds explores throughout the journey of Fake Perfect Me. A heart-warming—and often heart-wrenching—tale with a valuable lesson—to love one’s self.

She is currently working on her second novel. She lives in New York City.
